The laboratory in a factory is mainly responsible for the control and analysis of finished products and semi-finished products during the production process, the analysis of raw materials and auxiliary materials, the inspection of product quality, the research and improvement of analytical methods, as well as the preparation and calibration of standard solutions used in workshop-level laboratories. The basic requirements for laboratory design are to pay attention to ventilation quality, ensure the laboratory is aesthetically pleasing, and achieve a reasonable matching in the design.
  1. Be responsible for sampling finished products and semi-finished products, as well as sampling raw materials and auxiliary materials; complete the inspection and analysis of finished products, semi-finished products, and various raw materials in a timely and accurate manner. In principle, the test results for finished products produced each day and raw materials put into storage must be obtained on the same day, and an
 Inspection Report shall be issued.
  1. Strictly implement the relevant national regulations on quality records and document management, and properly maintain the original records of inspection and analysis. The original inspection records for each batch of raw materials and finished products shall be filed, ensuring they are clear and retrievable, and kept properly.
  2. Maintain timely communication with various departments and workshops, jointly control unqualified raw materials, auxiliary materials, semi-finished products, and finished products, and effectively ensure product quality.
  3. When abnormal situations occur in production, increase the frequency of random inspections to detect existing problems as early as possible, find solutions, and provide scientific data to guide production.
  4. Participate in the enterprise's scientific research work, and provide accurate experimental and analytical data for the development of new products and the research on the application of new processes and technologies.
  5. Be responsible for all inspection results obtained in the laboratory, and the inspector's name must be signed after the inspection records are made. If there is any doubt about the inspection results, it shall be reported to the department management in advance to prevent quality accidents caused thereby.
  6. Be responsible for the use, maintenance, and upkeep of analytical instruments and equipment in the laboratory, strictly implement the relevant provisions of the analytical instrument management system, and ensure the normal operation of the instruments and equipment.
  7. Be responsible for the use and management of items in the laboratory, strictly implement the chemical management system, and use chemicals in accordance with standard procedures.
  8. During the inspection work, the discharge of wastewater, waste gas, and waste residue shall comply with the relevant national environmental protection regulations to prevent environmental pollution and protect the physical safety of inspectors.
  9. Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the laboratory, and do a good job in daily indoor hygiene and personal hygiene in accordance with the requirements of the hygiene management system.
  10. Be responsible for the safety of the entire inspection process, strictly implement the safety management system, and ensure the safe conduct of inspection work.
  11. Organize training, learning, and further education for inspectors, and strive to improve the inspectors' quality awareness and professional knowledge and skills.
